Wholeheartedness is about being focused on positive traits and good qualities and not being focused on a person’s shortcomings. According to Brown, wholeheartedness is based on five ideals. The first ideal is the notion that every human being needs love and a sense of belonging, the second is that those who feel that they belong somewhere and that they are loved also believe that they are worthy. The third is about the feeling of worthiness. The author says that feeling of worthiness is built over time.
